Trinity Baptist Church
Building a world-class experience.
Trinity Baptist Church required a highly performant, modern platform to host their extensive sermon archive and provide a welcoming onboarding experience for new visitors.
To achieve lightning-fast search capabilities and scalable storage, the site was architected using Next.js, powered by a Turso SQLite edge database accessed via Drizzle ORM.
An intuitive custom administrative portal was built from the ground up, empowering church staff to seamlessly upload audio sermons via Vercel Blob and manage website content dynamically without technical assistance.

What we were up against.
The primary hurdle was migrating a massive, unorganized library of audio sermons into a modern, searchable system. The previous infrastructure was slow, making it frustrating for the congregation to find specific teachings by series, speaker, or date. Additionally, the church lacked a cohesive digital strategy for welcoming new members, requiring a dedicated onboarding flow.
How we fixed it.
I developed a robust Next.js application that leverages Turso's edge SQLite capabilities for instantaneous, sub-second search querying. Using Drizzle ORM, I structured a clean relational database to categorize sermons efficiently. Vercel Blob was integrated for reliable, scalable media storage. To solve the administrative bottleneck, I built a custom React-based CMS dashboard tailored exactly to the church's workflow.
