The Church Platform Dashboard is a multi-tenant administrative portal designed to centralize and streamline church operations. Built to handle complex organizational hierarchies, it empowers church staff with powerful tools to manage their congregation, schedule events, and oversee internal communications.
A key goal of the project was replacing fragmented spreadsheets and legacy software with a unified, modern web application. It features real-time data syncing, role-based access control, and a beautifully crafted interface that reduces the learning curve for non-technical volunteers.
The backend relies on Firebase for robust authentication and real-time database management, while AWS S3 handles secure, scalable media storage for sermons and church resources.

What we were up against.
Many growing churches struggle with disjointed systems—using one tool for giving, another for member databases, and yet another for scheduling. This fragmentation leads to administrative burnout, data silos, and a poor experience for the congregation. The challenge was building a multi-tenant platform secure enough to handle sensitive member data while remaining intuitive enough for volunteers of all technical skill levels.
How we fixed it.
I developed a cohesive Next.js web application equipped with a robust Firebase backend to serve as a single source of truth for church administration. The platform employs stringent role-based access controls to protect member privacy, features a dynamic organizational calendar, and uses AWS S3 to seamlessly host and stream media content like weekly sermons.
